Eh, it's going. Slow. Some days are better than others. Started physical therapy which I think is helping, slowly, but still taking lots of drugs too. It's not even really all that painful, but the side effects are super annoying. Pretty much sitting or even standing but in one place my feet will start going numb. That's the annoying part along with the hip/leg muscles get really stiff. I'm basically mentally just burnt on this crap. I can't do any of the active stuff I used to do without thinking I'm going to making it worse. So no off-roading.......hell some day I can hardly make it to or from work for a 10 minute drive without numb feet, no hiking/etc. which really sucks since I'd been hoping to do my first backpacking trip last month.
Still no sliders installed on the Jeep. Debated whether I'd have to bail on the Jeep and trade it for a "regular" vehicle since I don't know if this crap is going to get better and why have the Jeep if I can't use it. Also second guessing that tire upgrade and whether I should stick with 285/75/17's or go with the 1" smaller diameter 70 series since I'm mostly/all on road right now for MPG/$$$/etc.
I did fix one issue though. Lately with the cooler weather my brake light on the dash would come on solid while in the middle of driving (e-brake on makes it come on but it flashes for that). Usually in the mornings. Turns out my fluid was right on the Min line. Probably due to the pads wearing. Wasn't sure what was going on at first but the manual says anything from fluid to a real problem with the system. Turns out it was just fluid. Topped it off on Saturday and no light in two days now.
Oh, and the water leak is back with a vengeance this year. Called the dealer back and they basically implied they didn't think they could cover it under the original warranty repair any longer. So now I'll probably just take it to the Sacramento dealer (was taking it to Davis originally due to Yelp reviews for their service, before Sac dealer changed hands). If I'm going to pay for it, might as well go where it's easier to get to and Davis has tried to fix it multiple times and failed. So maybe a different dealer is more capable.
