Should also mention (for Jimbob's benefit) that from what I've read I would NOT run one in the rear of a DD because yes then it's basically on 100% all the time and especially in snow on roads can be really screwy. This really sounds like a good setup though front Aussie and rear factory LSD until I can re-gear and go with e-lockers or air front & rear. At around 800-1000 a pop just for each locker, that's a loooooooong way off though.

Daniel installed mine in the time it took me to go look up the instructions. I run one in the rear and it isn't locked up all the time but it pops n bangs and isn't dd friendly.

Things you think of when it's too late...............
I have a Dr. appointment in an hour, parking is in a garage unless I find street parking and have a ton of quarters (and who knows how long I'd need). Problem.........I have a CB antenna sticking up 2 feet over my roof that probably will not clear the garage and I have no tools on me. Oops, good thing I put the spring back on it. I think I can bend it down and tie it to my 3rd brake light with a spiderwebshade bungee or if I still have some large zip ties Jimbob gave me a couple years ago.

I usually just let my antennas bash against the ceiling, but I do have a quick release on the back whip.

If I ever do manage to break my antenna though, I'm going with a Wilson Flex next time. Supposedly you can basically bend it in half with no problem, just takes a hit in the range dept. vs. a Firestik and that was why I went Firestik.
