Holy crap! You've been going this long, in an LJ no less, without rocker protection? I thought I was bad! Are those BFG KO's?

I will need to pull off the "UNLIMITED" decal on the side before mounting. Did anyone place a gasket or sealant between the rocker and body? I have been reading pros and cons on the subject.

Metal to metal can't be good, so I think something would be better than nothing?

Mine have a piece of rubber between the sliders and the body, when I pulled them off to rebuild them the paint underneath looked perfect. I've read quite a bit about it and it doesn't seem like one way is better than the other. Since it was already there, I put the rubber back in my sliders, but when I did my corner armor I didn't do any sort of sealing and bolted them straight on. That's the way Genright recommended it
