Yes, lowranger, we would be taking that road for a ways and then some side trails. The bridge is totally closed to thru traffic. There is a gate which I have never seen locked yet, but we might get turned back.

Just to clarify meeting will be at Bestwestern El Grande Inn, 15135 Lakeshore Drive, Clearlake at 9:00 departing 9:15am.
Yolo County said they would have the gate opened for me on Saturday May 14. Expect a fairly rough road surface, after the recent rain storms. Should be fun! Road will also take us through some burnt out areas which apparently have wild flowers not seen in years.
