Ya, Deer Valley is also on my list too. Can't do it this year as I'm still running stock bumpers.

I’ll be taking my Jeep, but just for transportation and to sleep in like a tent.
Going to a private musical festival... all my friends bands will be playing, one at a time... camping out, playing on a huge outdoor stage... way out in the middle of nowhere... in fact, there’s no cell service...
The owners house still has the ancient equipment and the rooms from when it was a recording studio.. though only obscure bands recorded there... like who ever heard of Journey!?!.! What kind of band name Is that anyway?!

I suggest the swamp lake trail if yer going that way. I think the trail head for swamp is very close to the bald mtn trail

You can enter the trail at either side. Its similar to rubicon but a shorter trail that peaks at 10,000ft. I think i have photos in a trip report on this board. If you entered from the back of the trail and jst went to swamp lake itd be much more kid friendly. Theres a knarly decent or climb that i wouldnt take my kids on above swamp lake
