The creek behind my house takes about 10" to 11"s of rain to bring it through. to get impassable it takes twice that. From what I understand most of the creeks that are perennial in the county take close to the same amounts. Had to have a bunch of rock work done the last two summers to control erosion and so have been in close contact with those powers that are in the know as to such things. According to my weather station we are at around 8" here behind the Oaks. I believe we would have to get Biblical rain to have there be an issue.
