Count me in for this one! Just got the TJ back on the road. Will have Lucy along with me too.

I've got a buddy with a stock XJ. How d'ya think he'd fair? I don't want to invite him if his rig is gonna end up in pieces, but it's my understanding that these are some really light trails. Is that accurate of me to assume? Or should he stay home?

He should do just fine. You are correct that most of the trails up there are easy to moderate.

Flyinion: The soft top is invisible to the antenna. Checking SWR after disassembling and reassembling the system is always a good idea.

The XJ will be fine, we aren't doing any crazy trails. My dad is bringing his chevy 1500 that he uses as a ranch truck and I don't expect him to have any problems either.

Righto! Well I asked him and he's busy this coming weekend anyways so meh.

As a sidenote, I see the meeting spot as being Little Bakers Market, 6951 East Rd # A, Redwood Valley, CA 95470 @ 9:00AM.

My issue with that is that we'll be coming from San Jose so we've got a 3 hour drive + stops for breakfast and bathrooms, so figure 3 1/2 hours. If we miss you lot at the market, where precisely will you be setting up camp? That way I can map it out ahead of time and just meet y'all there.

The campsite is a big meadow in the middle of the woods off of trail 20N51. It's not far from M-1 and is a fairly straight forward drive if you went that way. We are going to go a much more round about way to get there, but if for some reason you didn't meet up with us, you could just meet us there
