Howdy friends,

Trying to get in one last wheeling trip before its only snow runs. Weather looks good for a Signal Peak run this weekend. Plan is to meet at the trailhead at 9:30 on Saturday the 14th, run the trail that day, and with whatever time there is leftover, potentially (and totally optionally) go play around at the lower part of Fordyce (emphasis is on optionally - not trying to turn this into a hardcore run).

I've been wanting to check out Signal Peak and Cisco Grove Campground for a while now, but just haven't been able to free up some time. I'll check with the boss to see what's on the plate this weekend.

There's snow up there what now, plus its getting in to the 20's and 30's up there.

Yea I'm not too worried about the snow. I know a group that hit up Fordyce (right next door) this weekend, and didn't have any snow. What snow they got this Sunday and Monday (and it was apparently less than anticipated) will probably melt off by the weekend. I figure there's plenty to do at the lower elevations between Signal Peak and easier sections of Fordyce that there will be enough wheelin' if we get snow up at higher altitudes.

I really want to get up to signal peak! But I'm going to an equipment auction on Saturday so I'm out

It would have to be a day trip for me.

Day trip works! I may or may not camp the night before, but Saturday would be the day we run the trail. What time you reckon you could get to the trailhead?

Hi Guys:

Take some good pictures on the harder parts of the trail. I would like to take this run in warmer weather and spend a night or two up there with the group next year.
