Prairie City get-together in January17th

Meet up at 10AM. I've only been there once, so not sure where to meet. I'd like to find an area to bbq and hang out for the day. Not everyone will have their Jeeps.

Talked with some friends who were up last weekend. It's extremely muddy right now. Could dry out if no more storms come through. There are plenty of sheltered areas to eat. I can't remember if they have BBQ pits are not. I had a lot of fun climbing the pyramid with a very good spotter of course!

You should probably meet around the pyramid as you can't miss it and move on from there.

After you pay take the 1st left. There are bathrooms and covered tables right above the 4X4 area.

It's mostly open area with some short trails and fun obstacles. Mud gets pretty deep in places. If you like mud it is a lot of fun. (I don't -- to much work to clean). Also if it's wet you slip off the more rocky trails.

Remember, this is a get together/bbq too. You don't have to take your rig thru the mud if you don't want to. This is a chance to meet other forum members, hang out, and if you want to wheel, the park is at your disposal.

Mud is fun when you have traction and when it is legal to clean it off, since I am on water restriction in the south bay cant do that. if it dries up a bit count me in, if not will have to sync up a different time.
