Na I didn't take any pics.... it's a cool event, but to be honest I'm pretty current on what's going on in this world so nothing really surprised me enough to photograph. Some of the trophy trucks were pretty impressive though. There's about a zillion people there so getting a good pic would be impossible anyways. I did see the new savvy / currie 4400, and yeah...... it's badass.

Here's a quote from one of my customers who recently was able to put his 10lb system to good use. Pretty impressive! The compressor in question was no slouch. It was an MV89 which is one of the most powerful portable 12v. compressors you can buy.

"A brief description is as follows:

In the same amount of time, the compressor put 18 PSI into two 33x12.5's and 9 PSI into a third, while the IAS system filled 13 tires by an average of 14.5 PSI each. The tires filled by the IAS tank were on three different rigs and averaged 33" in diameter and 11.5" in width. When finished, the tank still had approximately 40% of its capacity still remaining. Each tire took an average of 31 seconds to fill.

Put another way: I could have aired up the tires on four rigs from 10 to 26 PSI and still had a third of a tank left. Anyone still concerned about tank capacity or fill times? "

Here's a use you probably haven't seen before. My air compressor died in the shop and I needed to use my plasma cutter. I pulled out the air tank and it had no problem running the plasma for about five minutes of cutting!
