Does anyone around Stonyford know how low the snow is on the M-10 to Letts Lake. I know the snow got pretty low a few weeks ago but with the warm weather and rain.... I might try to get up there this weekend.

I haven't been up there in a while, but I'd bet most of the snow has melted except for the very top. I can see snow on Snow Mt. and Hull, but it looks light. Casey?
Did you have to evacuate from the Dam fiasco?

I'm hoping it is light, the M-4 was down to 4000 ft 2 weeks ago (at whitlock camp)
No evac here in Orland, A lot of ppl were hold up at the fair grounds here. That was some crazy stuff on Sunday night, but from all I've seen everyone was donating water and food and space for animals, good communities around here.
* although Oroville could have used a good washing, i have to keep my Oroville jokes in my pocket till after everyone settles down

With the rain coming end of this week and into the weekend, I doubt I'd be able to cross Bear Creek from my side, so I'd have to go clear around to the Stonyford side to get up there. Take some pics if you go. I'm curious to see how full Letts Lake is.

Are you looking for snow, or just want to get out and explore?

Honestly I'm thinking about camping. Work has been hellish going on 14 days straight.
Going to load up my trailer with food and wood. Snow levels are around 4500 so I would prefer not to mob it up there but I am willing.

Well, you should have plenty of campsites available. Bet it'll be a ghost town up there, perfect!!!

I hope it is empty, I love it when it is sparsely populated. Bringing the fishing poles ...

Now you've got me wanting to go! Lol! My wife loves fishing that lake. Just gonna have to see how much rain we get between now and Saturday. I could Take Walker Ridge past Indian Valley Res and hit Stonyford that way. Long way to go though for a day trip.
