If u have one the center ball in the cv on the driveshaft can do weird things when it wears out and still feel solid
That reminds me i should grease mine...

I had my local driveline shop put a needle zerk on mine because even most of the good driveshafts the center cv ball is unservisable unless disasembled. The shitty thing is because of my belly up skid its a painstaking hour + task to remove the front shaft and grease the center ball but i havent had to have it rebuilt in 3 years which is a record for me.
These godamned tjs have that front everything always spinning and u put some angle on it or add water next thing u know and 300$ later....
I havent had problems with my rear but ive seen it happen on the trail, sounds almost like a random ticking only under load and at a certain speed

Well rebuilt both drive shafts opened the rear dif and checked bearings and torque on bearing caps all is well there so on goes the search for the noise

I feel your pain. Even after the SYE and new rear drive shaft, adjusting pinion angle till I'm blue in the face, I still have a drive line vibe above 55 mph. It's better than before, but still there. Next up, I guess put the TC pucks back on the skid and lower back down.
