Read all 3 of those threads. What I a.m. getting is that the taller gears are better for highway driving. The YJ is not gong to be my daily driver, I have my Silverado for that. She is mostly for fun and hunting. What are taller gears going to do off-road?

My Jeep is not my daily driver. I'm like you, I use mine for fun and hunting. The 4.56 gears with 33" tires and a 5 speed work perfect for me.

I daily drive my jeep with 4.56 and 33s if it was my hunting fun rig id do 488 and a 4to1 tc
