Come on guys ... give it a try .. once you taste HAM .. you'll never go back to being a vege (CB radio, Walkie Talkie (FRS) etc). There is a learning curb but it's not that big of a deal. Just like Jeep world, there is TONs of info on the web. I'd be MORE than happy to share what I know about it and why I think everyone should have it. You can play/learn as you go along. How about I demo it on our next meet? Ohh and the best part ... handhelds are cheaper than CB!

Just take the practice tests when you're out wheeling the web and once you get consistent take the real test, it's easy to learn.
