Cris Reeves makes awsome knives! They IMHO are high end knives. You should enjoy that one.

Not high end but I bought this SOG maybe 20-25 years ago for 200 bucks. It has served me well. Blade is still nice and tight in the case also.

found this Gerber on my academy ship freshman year during my first watch. 5 years later still going strong.

I went through like 5 of those things, great little knives, just never seem to last.

I really like my spydercos.

Not really sure if it would qualify as mid-range or not, but picked up this Spyderco endura 4 with vg-10 steel last year. Had been without a knife for years since accidentally leaving my old Gerber up in WA when I moved back.

I can't warm up to spidies. I bought 2 of their upper shelf knives and haven't carried either yet. I got a voloton and a special edition pm2. They just sit in their boxes. The best knives I've ever used are benchmade. I've got a barrage which is my everyday carry for years now a pardue a benchmite and the sexiest knife I've ever touched the 530 emmasary in teal. It's soo sharp and fits the hand soo well. Blows the Chris reeves out of the water at 1/3 the price
