Pretty much anything from Stone Brewing. A lot of the Sierra Nevada stuff as well. Also Deschutes Brewery out of Oregon. Not a huge fan of lager styles though. I tend to go with ale, porters, and stouts most of the time.
For wine, there's just too many to list. Some favorite wineries would be Renwood from Amador, Michael & David from Lodi, Berghold from Lodi, and Machia from Lodi.
I know it says "brew or wine" but I'll toss a few whiskey/scotch things in there too. Laphroaig 10 year, Balvenie Doublewood, Glenfiddich 15 year Solara Reserve, Redbreast 12 year.

You and Esther need to go wine tasting with us thru Anderson Valley. Bet we could find you a new favorite Pinot! Hey,

A wine tasting/beer tasting run?

We could literally hit 3 breweries, Red Tail Brewing, Anderson Valley Brewing, and Noyo Brewing. I lost count at how many wineries there are in Anderson Valley alone!
