i ran barrett lake in aug 2016

Trail was very easy ran all but 3 spots in 2low....first Time in 10 years on the trail, remember it being a lot harder

Hiked to the plain crash too, was beautiful up there

Next time ill camp at the lake before the trail head, wrights lake. The trail can easily be done in 4 hours in a group of 4 so you could be in and out with have hiked to the plain crash in 12 hours with stops

Rock bound lake is a 6 mile hike from wrights lake. Buck island at Rubicon is a 6 mile him from rock bound lake fyi


Barrett is about 20 miles + or - 5 miles past icehouse rd off 50

I'm jst about positive the two grand Cherokees in the 2015 Barret post on yer board were there when I was. Only difference I could see in the rigs were some rear upper quarter panel guards. The two guys look the same, I kicked it with them for afew hours

I wanted to roll out with everyone else in camp on sun but my group wanted to leave first thing sun morn. We all got stuck behind a large group on caddy hill afew weeks earlier for 5 hours. After seeing people break jst outside of camp sat evening they didn't wanna repeat that adventure....
