Forestdale Divide

Been up here a few times, and decided to camp up there this past weekend for kicks. Gorgeous area for sure, though the trail itself isn't a challenge by any means, the scenery is unrivaled in California. Very much reminds me of a lot of the high alpine forest routes back in Colorado. Now that Deer Valley is reopening, it can be run from highway 4 to 88, or from 88 to 4. Combined it comes in a bit over 16 miles and crests at just under 9000ft by the Forestdale Divide.

Bet the stars were spectacularly bright up there. Quite a bit of snow still!
