Damage....

My strap holding my Jerry can broke again (4th Time the can has fallen off its mounting location) its a garvin or whatever bumper. Great bumper jst shitty gas can mounting hardware

I broke one mounting braket on my led bar cause I didn't have a chainsaw and had to winch the trees down and drive over them

I suorisingly bent one of my fenders even though is only an inch wide

I poked a small hole in my softtop

I lost a silver/unpainted shorty hitch and d ring somewhere

Most of the roads in that area just lead to old yarder landings, but if you're coming from the top, taking the road that leads the most downhill at each intersection should get you to M6. I haven't been up there in a couple months so I'm not sure where the washouts are, but the main road has always been pretty good. I do need to get back up there soon, it's been way too long

Going up there solo is a bit risky, but if you're prepared it's nice to have the solitude. A lot of the trails close up during winter months. If you went a bit further, the M6 intersects with the M60. The M60 then connects to the M1. Casey knows this area like the back of his hand. I need to get out there more.

Oh, and carry a small chain saw.

I have a nice saw, I lent it to my boss and haven't gotten it back yet.

My local friends aren't usually interested in trying new spots. meeting new friends doesn't always go so well. My other wheeling friends are all south bay and not interested in the drive to jst explore fire roads.

I'm kinda of a dick I guess.


I actually went up san headron with friends and camped Fri night but they left because of the rain. I proceeded up to explore.

Yeah, the weather last weekend was a bit wet. I'm not a fan of camping in the rain. Some folks just don't like crowds. We're a pretty easy going group, but to each their own.

I go solo quite often, I always carry enough gear to camp for a few days and to walk out if I have to.
