Still would have had to bend it over, but yeah at least it would have been short enough then with just the bungee to the brake light. I guess I didn't really realize how far above the roof that thing was going to stick up when I paid the extra $2 for the 4 foot vs. 3 foot one.

So I think I found a fix for the noisy warped soft top header problem. It's a bit unconventional, but I can't hear the noisy header now, or at least not as much as before 
Of course I'm still thinking about trying the "sunrider" fix too. That will fix it for sure.

I think a good fix for the JK soft top noise would be a clamp from the header to the center footman loop, I just haven't gotten that far yet..
