Day run to sour Grass Saturday 09-07-2013

Hello we are doing a day run to sour Grass Saturday 09-07-2013.

We have two meeting spots, The first meeting spot is a gas station just on the other side of Mc Donald's parking lot on the corner of Dale Road and Pelendale Ave in Modesto ca at 08:00 Sharp.... 08;05 we will be gone.

The second Meeting spot is at Starbucks on hwy 120 aka Yosemite ave and Plaza Ave in Escalon ca.
We should be there approximately 08:20 Then off to Hwy 4 and Sourgrass.

Sour Grass Trail (a.k.a. Pine Needle Flat)
Located between Arnold and Camp Connell on Highway 4, is Boards Crossing Road which winds down to the Stanislaus River and the Sour Grass recreation area and campground. The trail is approx. 2.5 miles long and rates at about 2 on a 1-4 scale. A stock T-100 made it up with a little guiding after kissing a few rocks on cross members underneath and full-sized pickups with campers have reportedly made it up. It consists of a narrow dirt road along the river bottom, with a few rocky ledges, several creek crossings and some secluded camping sites.

Dang I wish I would have seen this earlier... I am putting on new skids right now and will probably not be able to get up in time. have fun and lots of pics!
