No .... not that far, we have been in the area before. Forest Service put in a new road (we need to check that out) and there is an area that I have always driven by, and looking at google maps, looks like there is an old road that we can explore and maybe get down by a creek. Looks like it would be a good place to camp someday next to the water.

They cut a whole new road to bypass a guy who was blocking off a public road??
2006 Rubicon, stock engine #2, stock transmission, stock T-case, stock axles, stock gears, stock diffs, springier springs, couple of random holes drilled, bits of scrap metal welded on with some junkyard parts thrown in for good measure.

Forest Service didn't have a back bone to fight for the right of way, so they just built a round around it. So the guy/gal wins !..... that's B.S. That road has been there as long as I can remember ......and believe it or not ..... that is a very loooooong time.
