Letts Lake / M-10 area

I normally only have to go down there a couple times a month, but with all these storms and slides I've been down there constantly hauling machines down for emergency cleanup jobs. I've had about enough of it though

It was still raining when we left this am. My wife was shooting me with daggers. But it was a beautiful day up there. Man it was amazing walking around the lake. I'm going to try to upload some pics, this site has a hard time with loading my photos from my phone

Looks pretty up there. How's the fishing? And is it acceptable to target shoot there? Fishing is more important though. I've had it on my list for a while but just haven't had a chance. I want to get there before summer.

I think there are Trout in the lake. It was mighty windy while I had my pole in the water. There are a few inlets where I bet the trout hang around.
I'm sure you can target shoot, just have to find a isolated spot. Me and a friend went up out of corning to shoot. The Ranger was right by use so I asked if it was cool to shoot and he said no problem. Same forest

They usually stock the lake with trout just before the spring surge. The bass take over pretty quick though.
