That's correct, you won't find a new welder under $500 that will work for what you're wanting to do, unless you go with a stick welder. But Hobart's are really good, they are Miller welders without the autoset and steel drive rolls
2006 Rubicon, stock engine #2, stock transmission, stock T-case, stock axles, stock gears, stock diffs, springier springs, couple of random holes drilled, bits of scrap metal welded on with some junkyard parts thrown in for good measure.
