Pressure washers?

Anyone have any experience/suggestions on pressure washers? My wife wanted to get something cheap for hosing off the patios and the acrylic patio cover we have over the back patio. I wouldn't mind it for getting mud off the Jeep either. My brother in law said to avoid the cheap 1-200 dollar electric stuff like the plague and get gas. He was recommending Stihl.

But at half the price https://www.stihlusa.com/products/press ... ers/rb600/ is more in our range plus he some sort of discount if he buys it for us making it even cheaper. List is like 679 that I saw on one website (MSRP).

In a review on one website for it I saw a recommendation for https://www.powerequipmentwarehouse.com ... ure-washer in a Stihl review because “Stihl is new to pressure washers so the quality is unknown”. I don't know anything about that brand though.

Apparently I was wrong on the price on the RB600, it's DSRP is 900. That other site must have been way off. https://emighacehardware.stihldealer.ne ... ers/rb400/ would be closer to the price range at 579.

I just buy the cheap little 100 dollar electric ones. They last a couple years at least, then die and I buy a new one. Even if they only last two years, that's $50 a year for a pressure washer, I'm good with that. Especially when it mean I can just plug it in and pull the trigger, no checking oil, no filling gas, and no maintenance at all

I've got a little home depot ryobi one, good enough for what I do with it, and so far it's started every time I use it, which isn't frequent.

I just looked and mine's actually a ryobi as well. I've had it about a year, it does what I need, and doesn't matter how long it sits between uses, just plug it in and pull the trigger. My last one was a Blue Clean, it lasted just shy of 3 years
