Hot Labor Day Weekend

What is everyone going to be doing this hot weekend to stay cool.

Gonna drain our spa and fill it with cold water and pretend it's a mini swimming pool. How about you?

Not sure yet. Still at the ranch. Maybe drive the LJ down to the river and jump in. Second option would be to hang out in the motorhome under the big oak tree with the A/C on. Either way, both options involve "cold beer".

Probably hiding inside at home or a movie theater. We were supposed to go to Lodi for a wine club pick up release party. Yeah, not when it's 111 forecast down there tomorrow. That building's AC is not going to be able to keep up with the release party plus the 110+ heat.

We decided to camp in Shasta for the weekend where it's even hotter, and smokier, and more crowded. Great idea. We might bail out of here and head up to Alturas where my dad is camping and it's 20 degrees cooler

Next weekend looking good 96 high and 65 lows. Thinking about camping at Letts Lake again. Hopefully less ppl after the holiday.

Was at eel river by lake pillsbury. Was smokey from the oroville fire so i didnt stay rest of weekend.

Came home yesterday to be woken up at 2am by a volvo doing dounuts on my street corner. Then at 4am our dog went crazy and i realized there was a fire. 2 blocks down a house was on fire and his amunition was exploding. Cops were everywhere...
